Artist’s Statement
“In this work, the fluidity of the sea meets the unyielding ambition of the mountains. Painted in deep cobalt and shimmering gold, the piece explores the duality of nature and the human spirit.
The water represents an adaptable force—taking on the form of the coastline yet remaining fundamentally unchanging in its vastness. The yacht, leaving its golden trace upon the waves, serves as a symbol of human will. It navigates the formless sea to face the ‘Granite Horizon’—those towering peaks that appear insurmountable but are, in truth, attainable to those with the resolve to climb. It is a study of movement toward a steadfast goal.”
